I have learned a lot about cinematography and editing. In cinematography, I have learned about the different types of shots, and how to perfect those shots. In editing I have learned how to put the different shots together, and how to play with the sound. We also learned how to add transitions and generators. I liked being able to go around the school filming, and I liked playing with the different transitions in Final Cut Pro.

- It is really important to make sure that the camera is set up well, like a steady shot, good audio, and working equipment.
- The different types of shots (wide, medium, tight) focuses on different things in the shot, and it is the building block of chapter three. - Sequences are about each shots flowing into the next shots. It is about putting your wide, medium, and tight shots together and making them flow. You also want to make sure that the shots you are getting causes a break. - There are rules to when you are shooting a video. The rule of thirds is a good starting point and it adds visual appeal. Eyes on third is making sure the person's eyes are on the top line. Talking space is the empty space in front of the person in the shot. - The top 10 tips are to wear headphones, use a tripod, focus manually, avoid back lighting, white balance, shoot pre and post roll, no in-camera effects, don't record shot adjusts, and finally don't cross the axis. During the Tv Studio unit, I got to work a lot a fun jobs, and learn how they work. My favorite job by far was the Floor Director. I got to communicate with the director and listening to what they tell me. I also get to be in charge of the tv studio (kind of). Another job I enjoyed was AJA. I learned that following along with the script is really important. I also learned how it works and what buttons to press to work it. Director was another job where it is very important to follow along with the script. When you are director, everything is in your hands. It is your job to cue the other jobs. Tech Director was another fun job. When you first see all the buttons, it makes it seem like a tough job, but it was actually pretty simple. When you are tech director, you control was shows up on the screen. It is also important to follow along with the script. Finally, Talent. I am going to be honest here, I was very nervous about being talent. It ended up not being that bad, but it also isn't the job of my choice. It is important to sit up straight and talk at a decent level when you are talent. I also learned that if something went wrong with the teleprompter, do not stop, continue reading from the script in front of you. There was multiple more jobs, and they were all pretty fun. All in all, it was a good learning experience.
